In January of 2000, Don Janes and Robert Shattow combined their Rep Agencies to form Engineered Components and Products. Utilizing the education and expertise of Bob in Mechanical Industry and Don in the Electronics Industry. We were able to form an Electro-Mechanical Rep group that works closely with engineers on their specific applications.
With the addition of Rich Ourada and George James we are able to serve the Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin marketplace. ECP tends to work on “custom” applications. These are applications that are driven by engineering. Although, we do represent some manufactures that have a standard product offering, custom products tend to be our strengths.
Engineered Components and Products is headquartered in Eagle, Wisconsin. We have two offices in Illinois and two offices in Wisconsin. The ECP sales team works very close with our principals and with each other. If there are questions that we don't have the answers to, we will contact the necessary or appropriate sources to get the answers
